Embed YouTube Content within Sessions

This article highlights the ability to set up YouTube videos to be embedded in Sessions:
This article outlines how to embed a YouTube video in the Session details page through the following steps:
Step 1: Obtaining Video ID
Navigate to the desired YouTube video. Below the video, click on the SHARE button.
In the Share window that pops up, ONLY Copy the alphanumeric code after the "/" (In the below example, we would only copy the "Rby59osiJyg"):
Alternatively, the same ID can be copied from the browser URL:
Step 2: Entering ID in Backoffice
After copying the video ID from STEP 1, sign-in to the Backoffice and navigate to your desired event. Select the Sessions tab, then click on All Sessions to see the list of Sessions:
Select a session and click Edit on the top right-hand-corner. Scroll down to the Video content block and select "Embedded YouTube video". Paste the copied ID from STEP 1 into the "Video ID or live event ID" field:
Click Save to to apply changes.
Note:
- While Live YouTube videos will play on the platform, the YouTube chat feature is currently not supported.
- Please ensure that the video allows playback on other websites. If this is not done, the below warning will appear when embedding the video:
