Add a New Menu Item

Engagefully by Results Direct is customizable to the unique needs of this event and your organization. You can quickly add new Menu Items to the app navigation at any time.
- Click on Additional Menu Items > Add New Item. Click on the blue Add New Item button to begin adding your content.

- Start by creating a descriptive title and add it in the Name field.

- Next, select the type of content. There are 3 content types to choose from: Linked Content, Information Content and Syndicated Content. Each Content Type is explained below.

- Linked Content - Select Linked Content and either enter a URL or upload a file.
- Information Content - Select Information Content and using the WYSIWYG editor, add your custom content. You can enter and format your text, insert hyperlinks and images, and much more.
- Syndicated Content - Select Syndicated Content to insert a RSS Feed. (Example: CNN RSS Feed)

- Click the green Create button on the grey primary navigation bar.

Additional Menu Items are hidden from navigation by default, to make them available simply drag and drop the item to the desired menu group.

Customizing Menu Icons
To customize menu icons for Additional Menu items and Custom Content items:
- After creating an Additional Menu item or Custom Content item, click the 'Manage Menu' button.

- In the Additional Available Items section, you'll find the new menu items created when using the Additional Menu or Custom Content features.

- To customize the icon, you'll need to move the menu item to the Event Menu Structure. Simply drag the menu item from the Additional Available Items section and drop it into the Event Menu Structure section.

- Once you've moved the item, you'll notice that the new Menu Item has no icon. To edit it, click on the blue [Edit] button next to the Menu Item you want to edit.
- In the Edit Menu Item pop-up window, you can edit the name of the item and select an icon for it.
- To select an icon, click on the "Select Icon" button and choose from the list of meticulously designed icons specifically optimized for iOS/Android/Web.
- Once you've made your changes, click the "Save Changes" button to save the customized menu item.
By following these steps, you can easily customize the menu icons for Additional Menu items and Custom Content items in your event.
